earlier today i met magsy for lunch at megamall. magsy, a brilliant photographer, was an orgmate in my collegiate years (i felt so old writing that sentence haha). after finding out that his current place of employment was pretty much near mine, we decided to have eat out. it certainly was a change from our usual taft shenanigans.
funny, a few months of corporate living doesn't really change people much. we got to discussing taxes, job benefits, and episodes of grey's anatomy over beef gyudon and shiitake dumplings.
afterwards we walked (or in my case, limped) my way to krispy kreme doughnuts. after being hopelessly lost in megamall (note to self: building A is not building B), i discovered the much-sought-for donut paradise. after much perusal and mental drooling, i purchased the new york cheesecake donut.
imagine my delight when the cash register girl gave me an extra original glazed donut! turns out that each time the krispy kreme is lit up, you get a free OGD for every purchase. yay!!
so there. i'm officially a KK fan. la la la la la!
