so i was hanging out with some friends last night. i haven't seen them in a while and was really excited to talk to them.

and then C told me that he got a promotion...

karess: WOW, that's great! ang galing! (insert more gushiness and eye-widening here)
C (sheepish): eh, by designation lang yun, hindi by salary...
karess: kahit na! still, you got a promoted!
